About The Aliyah Initiative

Mission

The Aliyah Initiative provides safe passage, secure housing, and sustainable infrastructure for Jewish families returning to their ancestral homeland. As God gathers His chosen people from among the nations, we are linking arms with other international organizations to prepare for a Second Exodus of millions of Jewish immigrants. In partnership with believers from around the world, we ensure that every individual making Aliyah experiences not just a return, but a true homecoming—filled with hope, dignity, and support.

Vision

Our vision is to help one million Jews return to Israel and provide a city of peace, opportunity, and belonging for them to reside—establishing a lasting, life-giving community in the Promised Land.

David Skoog

David is a Messianic Jew, meaning that although he believes in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, he identifies as being Jewish by the heritage of his maternal grandfather and namesake, David Spector.

David Spector escaped from the pogroms (violent riots incited with the aim of massacring or expelling an ethnic or religious group, particularly Jews) of the Russian czar in 1912 and immigrated to the United States. In fact, Spector sailed from the Netherlands and crossed the Atlantic at the same moment that the Titanic was taking its voyage.

Almost 100 years later in 2011, the Lord told his grandson David Skoog to, “get to work for Him and to get ready.” Pointing to Israel and Jerusalem.

10 years later David was now ready, and in the spring of 2021, the Lord instructed him to help one million Jews make “Aliyah.” Today, in modern Hebrew, Aliyah is used to refer to Jewish persons returning home to their Promised Land in Israel from the nations where they have been scattered. Thus was born David’s organization, “The Aliyah Initiative.”
